Teething

6 weeks!
Cole's first tooth cut through at six weeks!

We knew something was going on and Mama had lots of contact with the pediatrician's office. Mama tried to eliminate everything from her diet that might be upsetting a baby belly; fatty or fried foods, spicy foods, gassy foods like vegetables, etc. New meds ordered for what we thought was acid reflux.

One day I stuck my finger in and realized our issue! A tooth!....at six weeks!

You are ahead of the game, my friend! And you are amazing!

Flashback: Carrying Cole

Cole,

I would love to tell you that pregnancy with you was pure joy. As I went through it though, it was not. There were the moments that I realized and was awed by the magic of it all....but for the most part I was uncomfortable, swollen, and sick.

If only I knew then how much I was going to love you....I would have been a much happier mama in all of that!

Truly though, I had no clue what I was in for. I was anxious about parenting, nervous about doing things correctly, concerned about money, etc. I wish I knew then what I know now...that things fall together. that is not to say that I don't worry about those things still! AND, more importantly - that you would make all worries float away.

So, swollen ankles, weight gain, months of heart burn, random and unexpected vomiting....I would do it every day of my life for you, little guy.

update: I am blogging all over the place in space and time....sort of. I am back-tracking to try to include points in life before blog livin'.


So, I have lots of thoughts of blogs....and I am not sure that the blogosphere is somewhere I want to venture, yet I feel so pulled to share a part of myself, my story, my adventures in motherhood, marriage, and life - even if I only share with myself. So here goes....
