Schroedel Family Reunion 2011

This year's Schroedel family reunion was held in Springfield, IL at the Prairie Penis Hilton.  The accommodations were great.  We had a beautiful room conference room with a fun view!  Our room was really great too!

They each had their Leapsters..what's better than playing someone else's awesome games alongside your buddy!?

We see these ladies once a year and have so much fun with them when we do!

Grandparents: Na

It's been said around here before....my kids have amazing grandparents.  

My mom, Sheri, Na is one of the amazing bunch.  

These photos were taken for her 50th b-day as her gift.

And the feeling is mutual!  They are nutty-in-love with her.

Cole's 4th Birthday Celebration, Stateside...

Since we were planning to be out of the country for Cole's actual birthday, we decided to celebrate with family in a small party the weekend before his birthday. 

Cole is so lucky to have so much family...and they all love him big time. Can't say I blame them....

Grandma & Grandpa came and brought Great Grandma & Great Grandpa Ronnie & Doris with them. 

Derek did most of the cooking; smoked pulled pork and homemade potato salad.  I contributed corn on the cob, baked beans, and cuppy cakes for the birthday boy...

Na & G, JayJay, Josh & Courtney, Mr. Greg, Laura, Stella, & Maria all came to help Coley celebrate.

I can't believe your four.  I never ever knew how much I could love someone until you came along.  Sometimes I worry that my heart will explode with pride, love, and joy....all for you buddy.  You have adjusted so remarkably well to your sister coming along.  More than adjusting, you have become such a fantastic brother.  You play with her and help me take care of her.  She loves you more than anyone.  She is so darn lucky that you are her big bro.  Daddy and I are so lucky too.  We talk about you all of the time and how proud we are because you are just so good!  I love that you are so sensitive and kind.  You are also opinionated and strong willed at times!  -A perfect balance.  Keep being you buddy.  Like what you like and be who you want!  I simply could not love you more.
